Merand Mécapâte, a family-run business based in Brittany, France, has been specializing in dough processing machinery since the 1950s. The company initially produced moulders for baguettes, later expanding their product range to include hydraulic dividers, intermediate proofers, and automatic breadmaking groups. They have a global presence, with 50% of their annual turnover coming from exports. Merand also acquired Pan Eiffel in 2000, adding a scoring machine to their product line. The company is currently led by CEO Yannick Gérard and continues to innovate, aiming to provide solutions for all types of bread dough processing.
