MATRIX VISION GMBH, established in 1986 by Werner Armingeon and Gerhard Thullner, is a global provider of vision products such as cameras, lenses, and 3D machine vision solutions. With over 120 employees, the company develops and distributes innovative high-tech solutions, incorporating customer feedback into their product development. They also contribute to the image processing market through membership in international associations and standardization committees. Since 2017, they have been a subsidiary of sensor and automation specialist Balluff, with Florian Hermle serving as managing director.
