In 2018, MAJA, a leading technology provider for the food industry, merged with Marel. This collaboration enhances their product expertise and resources, offering top-tier technology to customers. MAJA's offerings enhance Marel's broad portfolio of secondary processing equipment for various meats and fish. MAJA's ice machines are used for various food production and refrigeration purposes. At the Marel location MAJA-Maschinenfabrik in Kehl, around 200 employees are engaged in the development, manufacturing, global distribution, and after-sales of high-quality skinners, portion cutting solutions, and ice machines.
