Established in 1991, BakTek is a Northern California-based company offering maintenance support and service to retail and commercial bakeries. They expanded their offerings in 2001 to include industrial bagel equipment, bread and dough processing systems, and custom panning and conveyor solutions. BakTek's facility in Livermore, California houses their in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities. They also have a team of six experienced technicians providing local service across the Bay Area, Sacramento and Central Valley. Their product line includes bagels, sheeting, makeup, panning, conveying, chunkers, hoppers, extruders, conveyors, dusters, seeders, water sprayers, control panels, product alignment, and cracker smashers.
