Ammeraal Beltech, a global leader in belting, was founded by Thomas Ammeraal in 1950, starting with a unique baking belt. The company expanded internationally in 1964 and later merged with Verseidag AG's belting subsidiary under Gamma Holding. In 2008, it acquired the Danish modular belting company uni-chains A/S. The company changed hands between private equity firms Advent International and Partners Group in 2015 and 2018 respectively. In 2018, Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne were unified under AMMEGA. The company offers a range of products including conveyor belts, modular belts, round belts, ultrascreen belts, and v belts.
